Don't Feed Me collects nothing. No personal data, no browsing history, no analytics, no cookies. I don't know who you are and I don't want to.
Don't Feed Me is a Chrome extension that hides algorithmic feed content on YouTube, X/Twitter, and LinkedIn. It runs entirely in your browser. It does not communicate with any external server.
None. The extension does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. It does not track which websites you visit, what you type, or how you use your browser.
The extension stores a small amount of data locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage API. This includes your platform toggle preferences (which platforms you want feeds hidden on) and Feed Me timer state (whether a timed session is active). This data never leaves your browser and is not accessible to me or anyone else.
The extension does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no external API calls, no telemetry, and no crash reporting.
The extension requests permission to run on youtube.com, x.com, twitter.com, and linkedin.com. This is required to hide the feed content on those sites. The extension does not request access to any other websites or to your browsing history.
The extension includes an optional "Report a problem" text field in the popup. If you type something and submit it, the report is stored locally in your browser only. It is not sent anywhere. This feature exists so you can keep a note for yourself — I cannot see these reports.
If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top. The extension will always be free and will never collect personal data.
